A week long planning in mind to visit Narara Island seemed to be finalised day before yesterday after getting 1 confirmed participation and 3 positive response. However, I was soo happy to know that all the 4 have confirmed yesterday afternoon... was feeling like a dream to travel narara island and see corals is about to come true...
However... as thought 3 cancelled giving their own reasons at last moment at night....
Now what... called to that 1 guy who was ready but had a condition that he doesnt has a bike and would be pillion on moi bike. I was ready.. however sometime destiny has more plans... and got an imp mail about some work and i had to be here on sunday.... Now what.. again plan was on the verge of cancellation... discussed the same with the guy... he was little sad but supportive looking after my urgency of work....
Though since i had made a plan and got a confirmed reply from one.. i dint felt to cancel the same... however took some time from him and told him to call back in sometime.....

Finally... after calculating every thing... i decided to move ahead with the plan with a condition that we would return back on sunday afternoon.
Left room at 4Am... it was damn damn chilled... may be temp would be around 6-7 degrees... thats what we felt.... break after break every 30Km drive.... slow speed due to low visibility & cold wind.. make us rework on our plan & time constraint... we thought to divert our trip to Black Buck Sanctuary in Velavadar region in Bhavnagar....
Taking U turn from limdi to Dhanduka instead of limdi to Rajkot made us reach Dhanduka in time..
Had breakfast at Honest in limdi... and photo session on the way to dhanduka made the trip enjoying....
Reached the sanctuary at around 11Am. One of the important thing that need to be taken care is that we need our own vehicle to visit the sanctuary inside... 2 wheelers/3 wheelers are not allowed.. if 4 wheeler is not there then one need to walk inside...
And the Gates opened
As we say its difficult to find lion in forest... and tiger in there premise... here too the same thing follows.. one cant see black buck so easily.... atleast that was the case with us...
Bhoom... entered inside and found neil gai waiting for us... for the picture.. with a nice pose... moved ahead and found huge bunch of them.... later saw eagle.. few birds... but dint got any trace of Black buck....
Few more Km and saw normal deer... few more km and saw the gate in front
"What we came so far & the feild is soo open yet we cant find a single black buck".... seems like "yeh logo ne sirf fotu laga rakha hain & invite tourist onli to see the same" replied a friend... to this guide started saying.. nahi woh dhup hain na toh woh beech main jaake so gaye honge.. etc etc...Atleast in between the bushes & small water body we traced a black buck... moved little ahead and found many.. moved little more ahead... &.. my goodnesss there was soooo many.... felt that .. the guide was right....
clicked few snaps... got outside & then a friend took us on different unexplored areas.. which were really nice.
Saw few migrant birds... open salt field... clicked snap..moved ahead. Had lunch at local hotel... food was good but was very spicy...
Finally we left the place at around 4.45pm... and drive down till Gandhinagar without any hault which made us cover distance of around 135km in 2.30 hours...
Finally a Good day spent in exploring the less explored destination.. leaving me good memories & making me think of my next destination :)
