Rejenuvate, that’s the best word to define Goa. Goa is all about fun. One will not only enjoy here but their will be one thought flowing in your mind “Shall I reside permanently over here”. Goa is basically known for its beaches until and unless one visits this place. Beaches here are awesome but the same goes with churches & forts too. Not only that but also the mountains, scenic, trees add to its pleasure.
My stay in Goa for 5 days was one of the most memorable days in my life. It was filled with lot of travel to beaches and added adventure in it. The best thing that one can experience in Goa is trekking. I and my friend, we trekked through mountain between Baga Beach and Anjuna Beach. It’s a pleasant experience and one could see the marvelous view of blue water on one side and beautiful mountain covered with trees on the other.
Panjim even known as Panaji is one city which will steal your heart. Despite seeing number of cities in India, I felt in love with panjim. What a place it is! Clean, developed, colourful – all these words can become part of panjim’s definition.
Our journey to Palolem turned up inspite of few hurdles and changes in plan. And I am proud to say that, if it wouldn’t have come true, we would have missed one of the best beaches of Goa. Surrounded by mountains, blessed with coconut tree, pleasant climate and blue water – is all about palolem.
In all, the beaches that we visited were Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Palolem, Dona Paula and Miramar. In case of church, we saw Besselica of Bob Jesus, Se cathedral, St. Cathejan and few more. We saw Auguda fort, Panjim City and Margoa aka Madgaon city too. Lastly we also had a chance to grab a cruise ride. It was worth taking. The ride will bring back your memories of Goa and one will feel on top of the world.
The only thing that was disappointing was littering by people. I think the government shall implement strict rules and penalty on all those who litter. Infact you won’t even feel to throw a piece of paper in such beautiful place. But by littering people are not only making it bad place but in long run it will turn out as one of the beaches which exist in Mumbai.
Last but not least, I think each one of us shall visit atleast once in life time to Goa. It’s worth seeing.
I wish to thank my partner [Amit] for joining me on such a wonderful trip, without him this wouldn’t have been possible.
